Kevin,
Fiona and I wanted to say again how much we enjoyed staying with you, and how grateful we are for your encouragement
and hospitality. The Lord has used it to refresh us and equip us for the coming months! Thank you so much.
We'll certainly be telling our friends about it, and have already put a post on our blog linking to your website.

how I got here
So here I am, in Tennessee. Loving Every second of it. It is absolutely beautiful, even though I have now been through 3 tornado warnings in as many days :) So here's the skinny... Wed night before I left I was one click away from booking a cabin near Nashville, and something told me to wait. So I got down to Louisville and Jim and Carolyn took me out for dinner. We sat down and were talking about the plans and I told them I was gonna head towards Nashville. At the same time they both looked at each other and said I wonder if Kevin's place is open! Turns out Jim's pastor from Pennsylvania runs a retreat for people in the ministry. So they called and after being booked solid for sometime they had some time open this week! So long story short I am staying in a 5-star rivaling apartment in the mountains near Bell Buckle TN for the cost of groceries! Kevin and I have had a chance to share a little and I am just so excited that God opened these doors! I have spent the last couple days driving around taking pictures, studying God's word and playing Guitar. This is what I needed, I can now say I have buried the past that was filled with pain and fear. I am a new man, with a new life and I know that I am right where God wants me to be. This new life promises hope and blessings beyond anything I can wrap my head around. Thank you all for your prayers, God is doing great things!

Pastor Chris and Family

My family and I just returned from the Eagles Nest. The accommodations are not gimmicky or flashy, which is exactly what we were looking for. We sought to be in a peaceful, cozy setting to be refreshed in the LORD and reconnect with each other. The Youse's who host this retreat are wonderful people who are keenly aware of the needs of those who are in ministry...they pastor the pastors. There are many things to do in the area if one wants family activities, but the best experience I had was in just stepping out the door of the Eagles Nest to enjoy the splendor of God's creation given the view overlooking the mountains and lake!
