The Timothy Ministry has been and remains an integral part Cherryvale Baptist Church. In 1983, Brother and Mrs. Youse with there three children left to serve in Germany as missionaries planting two churches for U.S. Military families. The churches are begun with an Acts 1:8 strategy. This means that a local church meets the needs of its Jerusalem, while planting churches in Judea and Samaria. Supporting and praying for missions worldwide while asking God to send forth laborers from the local church.
In 1987, the Youses moved to Allentown, Pa. To resurrect a dieing church. While their they prayerfully led the church to be the home church for planting the Paradise Valley Baptist Church in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Several couples and two single adults were called into missions. The fields were Kenya, Syria, the U.S. And a children's home.
