The Eagle's Nest Retreat
In April of 1972, I was introduced to our wonderful Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Shortly afterward, I met my lovely wife Kathy. We became members of Cherryvale Baptist Church in Sumter, South Carolina,and after completing our formal education, we returned to our home church serving on staff. While there we founded The Timothy Ministry. The Eagles nest retreat is an outgrowth of Cherryvale Baptist church and The Timothy Ministry.
Kathy and I have been blessed to minister in 21 countries. We have planted churches, conducted local church evangelistic meetings and Bible conferences. Nova Scotia is a new field that opened to us in 2008. I ministered in a men's conference and several local churches. I continue to preach as the Lord opens doors.
Now, the Lord has allowed us to build The Eagle's Nest, a retreat for those in Christian ministry. The retreat is a peaceful vacation spot. It is just off I-24 and an easy drive to Nashville, Chattanooga and the Huntsville Space Museum. It overlooks beautiful Normandy Lake. There is no charge for staying at The Eagle's Nest, and it can be booked on a first come basis. Meals are not provided,a gas grill is provided and restaurants are just a 10 minute drive away. We are open for relaxation.

three fantastic grandchildren.
